#EmbracetheWorld: CLC Youth Gathering

The goal of our collaboration proposal is

to hold a global gathering of young people to embrace the world, in the style of St. Ignatius

Description of our collaboration proposal

CLC joins in the celebration of the Ignatian Year, Ignatius 500, which commemorates the anniversary of the conversion of Saint Ignatius, and does so through a world youth meeting in Loyola. Young people will be able to live their own personal process in the light of St. Ignatius' conversion.

They will experience the wound, for we are facing a wounded world in which many people are suffering. We will be aware of the tower, the strength that impels us to go out, to discern the frontiers we are called to inhabit. Like Ignatius, we will go on pilgrimage to meet others along the way and to build the Kingdom together with others and for all. Finally, we will live the celebration together with the whole Ignatian family, to be sent to our respective countries with the certainty of having strengthened ties with new friends in the Lord, bringing all that we are and the desire to serve better wherever we are.

To embrace the world, trying to alleviate the suffering of its creatures, in the style of St. Ignatius.

We will have the accompaniment and experience of experts, Jesuits and CLC members, and the young people will receive a visit and a special message from Father General Arturo Sosa.
