US Jesuit colleges and universities marked the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola (31st July) both on campus, through Masses and luncheons, and on social media! If you were on Twitter or Facebook on Tuesday, you probably saw a number of new, customized versions of AJCU’s #JesuitEducated video, as well as our 3-video series featuring student testimonials to Jesuit education.
This social media blitz was coordinated between AJCU and the marketing and communications offices of all 28 AJCU institutions, in an effort to promote our shared Jesuit identity to a broader audience. The videos will be shown across the country this fall during Jesuit college fair visits through a partnership with the Jesuit Excellence Tour (JET) program. Want to learn more? Additional highlights from the Feast of St. Ignatius include IggyFest in Buffalo, NY (sponsored by One Jesuit Buffalo in partnership with Canisius College and other local Jesuit schools) and a Mass with members of the Jesuit community at Santa Clara University–see highlights in the video below, courtesy of SCU’s campus ministry office!
The Jesuit Network project was launched in 2012 to promote reflection on the topic of networking and to accompany and foster international collaborative initiatives within the Society of Jesus.
