The Comparte Network Accompaniment Model

Do you want to know the results of the evaluation of the Comparte network intervention model in Latin America? The executive report of this evaluation covering the period of activity of the network between 2015 – 2019 is made available.

The COMPARTE network, created in 2011, has maintained its intervention program fairly stable since its inception. However, during these years it has not been possible to carry out any evaluation to review the coherence of the theory of change behind its accompaniment model. For this reason, the network’s dynamizing team agreed to carry out an evaluation in order to improve COMPARTE’s accompaniment program, and to hold the social centers and entities that have been collaborating with the network for years accountable.

Specifically, the internal coherence of the network’s intervention program has been evaluated in order to achieve its objective of sustainably expanding the scale of the economic-productive initiatives that accompany its member entities. To this end, the three dimensions that make up the network’s work were analyzed: the structure or resources it has, the processes it develops and the results or changes it hopes to achieve in order to attain the specific objective it is aiming for.

The techniques used to gather information from primary sources were quantitative (surveys) and qualitative (interviews, focus groups and life thread workshops), and secondary sources consisted of documentary analysis of various reports, minutes and publications of the network.

The evaluation process has made it possible to identify good practices, lessons learned and areas for improvement, as well as to propose recommendations that can help address the challenges identified. This will allow the network to be internally and externally accountable, as well as to use the results for the reflection process on the new COMPARTE 2024-2027 strategic planning, which began in April and will culminate towards the end of this year.
