At the beginning of the COVID crisis we covered some different examples of collaborative jesuits campaigns. Now, we are focusing on a new initiative from the Spanish Province of the Society of Jesus, that has launched the campaign #Seguimos to give a comprehensive response to the people and vulnerable groups who suffer most from the consequences of the crisis of the COVID-19.
A call to continue exercising our commitment to justice in the belief that working collaboratively and joining forces is the best strategy for dealing with the pandemic and its consequences. Now more than ever, we want to continue working to be on the side of those who need it most.
Its objective is to support the projects that have already been set up to attend to the most vulnerable population in three lines of action: emergency aid (food, health and housing), educational, psychosocial and labour insertion accompaniment, and international cooperation in those parts of the world with fewer resources.
It is a solidarity effort of all the works, institutions, communities and groups linked to the Jesuits. On the website seguimos.jesuitas.es you can find all the information.
The Jesuit.Network project is was launched in 2012 to promote reflection on the topic of networking and to accompany and foster international collaborative initiatives within the Society of Jesus and the Ignatian Family.
