to learn what spiritual abuse is and how to act against it
The Jesuit European Committee for Primary and Secondary Education (JECSE) and the Centre for Ignatian Pedagogy in Germany (ZIP) are organising the seminar "Spiritual Abuse" to explain what this form of abuse is, what differentiates it from other practices and how to prevent it in education. It will also examine the responsibility that congregations and dioceses may have, as well as finding ways to take action against those responsible.
The seminar will be given by Peter Hundertmark, a lay minister in Speyer (Germany) and director of retreats. Hundertmark has been involved in various groups to fight spiritual abuse since 2011.
The seminar "Spiritual Abuse" will be held in an online format on 20 September 2022. In order to participate it is necessary to register on the ZIP website. The seminar will be exclusively in French.
