MAIN Central Hub Inauguration

The goal of our collaboration proposal is

To participate in the inaugural ceremony of the Migrant Assistance and Information Network central hub

Description of our collaboration proposal

The Jesuit Conference of India and South Asia will celebrate the inaugural ceremony of the Central Hub MAIN – Migrant Assistance & Information Network (earlier known as MFN).

MAIN is a concerted, collective and innovative response to reach out to the distress migrants and would work in partnership with various stakeholders and collaborators across India. Being essentially a partnership model, MAIN would work in collaboration with individuals, NGOs, CSOs, CBOs, institutions, religious congregations, dioceses and networks. It will work closely with state governments by developing a replicable and sustainable model of accompanying, serving and advocating for the cause of distressed migrants.

The ceremony would be part of the ongoing JCSA meeting and thus we would be joined online by all the Provincials. The program will be live on Jesuit Conference of India YouTube channel
