The Examen is a prayer of conscience that St. Ignatius taught in his Spiritual Exercises. It is an invitation to "find God in all things" and to recognise how He moves in all the people and events of our days, "in whom we live and move and have our being".
Ask God to help you discover where He has been, in what or in whom He has met you and where He has led your steps this past year. Welcome, thank, forgive or ask for forgiveness if necessary, and renew your desire to help build a new future where no one is left out. Take a look at CPAL's proposal for the Examen.
