Forum on the Future of Internationalization in Jesuit Universities

The goal of our collaboration proposal is

to reflect on the future of internationalisation in Jesuit universities

Description of our collaboration proposal

The Ibero-American University of Mexico in collaboration with the Association of Universities Entrusted to the Society of Jesus in Latin America (AUSJAL) is holding the online forum "The future of internationalization in Jesuit universities" from 24 to 26 May, which aims to address the challenges of internationalisation in an increasingly connected global world.

The event will consist of three round tables in which speakers are welcome to participate. The first will deal with how internationalisation is understood by Jesuit universities and what global citizenship consists of, as well as how to achieve it. The second round table will share technological practices for continuing academic activities in the coronavirus pandemic. The third roundtable will serve to exchange ideas on improving cooperation between Jesuit institutions.

The forum will be opened by Francisco Marmolejo, head of higher education Qatar Foundation, and authorities of the Universidad Iberoamericana and the Society of Jesus. The round tables will take place during the morning (Mexico City time).
