CLC-CVX World Assembly

The goal of our collaboration proposal is

Around 250 members of CLC from 86 countries from all over the world will gather from August 3 to 12 at Amiens. The world assembly is the deliberating body of the World CVX-CLC which meets every five years.

Description of our collaboration proposal

There have been meetings (almost) since 1954. It has two main missions :

  • Defining CLC-CVX missions in the world and giving the main orientations (project letter);
  • Electing the new world service team (EXCO = executive committee) for the coming 5 years

The meeting will gather representatives of the National Communities of the 66 member countries of the World CLC, 11 observer countries (National communities in the process of becoming long-term members, sponsored by a member-country) and 9 emerging countries (interested but neither sponsored nor officially in the process of joining the Community.  Each country sends a delegation of 3, 4, 5 members, determined by its size.
