40 Anniversary Walking with Refugees

The goal of our collaboration proposal is

To recognize the work Jesuit Refugee Service has done over the last four decades, and honor those who have helped along the way

Description of our collaboration proposal

The Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) is an international organization with a mission to accompany, serve, and advocate on behalf of refugees and other forcibly displaced persons, that they may heal, learn, and determine their own future. In the United States, JRS celebrates forty years of service and we want to recognize their work and thank all the people who make it possible.

On November 12 we will hold a virtual event with very special panelists:

  • Comedian Jim Gaffigan and Writer, Director, and Producer, Jeannie Gaffigan
  • Rev. James Martin, S.J., Esteemed Author and Editor
