At the end of March 2022, representatives of the entire European Social Apostolate will be gathered in Loyola for a Congress that we announced in December. Our intention will be to strengthen the apostolic body as we seek to explore the Universal Apostolic Preferences (UAP). It will be a week of formation, formation, apostolic creativity and commitment that we can take back to our teams and institutions to continue to align our work around our shared mission.
The organizing team has already published a framework document for the meeting (in English) which sets out the main themes to be addressed at this Justice and Ecology congress. These are: (a) Reading the signs of the times, (b) The movement of people, (c) the environmental crisis, (d) the connection between Faith and Justice, (e) the challenge of populism, and (f) rebuilding after the pandemic. The team has also prepared a document with questions for your preparation.
Another novelty at the moment is that the 17 workshops in which it will be possible to participate in these three days of congress are already closed. A glance at the titles and speakers gives a very good idea of what we are going to find at the meeting:
