Last October, those responsible for administration and projects of Fe y Alegría around the world met in Madrid to address various challenges and strategies such as the identification of common themes and shared objectives that allow for greater sustainability and financial transparency. The meeting was part of the Federation’s Global Plan 2021-2025, which highlights the role of the people responsible for projects, as teams that work with commitment and enthusiasm to “project” the future of Fe y Alegría.
During the three-day meeting, various challenges were addressed: how to manage projects between initiatives, how to identify common themes and shared objectives, how to achieve financial cooperation in favor of the movement. As a result of these dialogues and the sharing of experiences, a series of commitments, agreements and conclusions were reached.
One of them was to continue working to improve the relationship and communication flows within the F&A and externally, for the construction of projects aligned with the F&A Strategic Plans and the Federation’s strategic frameworks.
It was also proposed to reflect on the relationship between efficiency, effectiveness and impact in networking, in order to better serve the educational mission of guaranteeing the Right to Education.
It was also emphasized the need to address knowledge management from the F&A and, therefore, from the initiatives in which they participate in order to learn, reflect and incorporate learning and improvements in our projects, which effectively guarantee our educational mission.
Another important issue addressed was the need to work to establish differentiated accompaniment strategies adapted to the different institutional contexts and moments of each of the M&A and especially to the specific needs of emerging M&A.
Finally, the importance of continuing to deepen the meeting and exchange between the F&A project departments was highlighted, as a network of people who, from a technical point of view, work to make the convergence between the strategic and executive aspects of F&A a reality.
