Ignatius Challenge

The goal of our collaboration proposal is

to go on pilgrimage, with the whole Jesuit network, for our best version of ourselves

Description of our collaboration proposal

The Society of Jesus in Spain and the Ignatian Pastoral MAG+S are preparing an inspiring journey through the episode that changed the life of Ignatius of Loyola forever. A digital pastoral project open to the whole world, on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the conversion of Saint Ignatius: Ignatius Challenge.

Ignatius Challenge takes up this experience and invites you to bring out the best version of each person through a virtual journey. The website created for this experience presents 8 virtual pilgrimage stages

Stage 1: The origin
Stage 2: Broken dreams
Stage 3: Carried on a stretcher
Stage 4: On the deathbed
Stage 5: Restoration
Stage 6: Motions
Stage 7: Consolation
Stage 8: On the way

Each stage consists of 6 in-depth dynamics, which are presented through various materials, such as radio podcasts set in the 16th century, historical-cultural pills, interviews to accompany you while you walk, interactive activities to get to know your companions along the way or challenges that will take you out of the screen to act in the world.

Needs, support or request

To participate in this experience you only have to register on the website https://challenge.ignatius500.org. The first pilgrimage will begin in January and will last 8 weeks.

Pilgrimages will follow one after the other as the number of registered pilgrims generates new groups who want to live this experience, and it is even planned that it can serve as a pastoral tool in the future, for anyone who wants to know a little more about St. Ignatius and his spirituality.

This experience is open to all those who wish to relive the conversion journey of Ignatius of Loyola, from anywhere in the world. Registrations are open!
